TASTING NOTES | Bright ruby red in colour. Intense fruitiness on the nose, with notes of ripe dark berries; spicy hints such as pink pepper and tobacco in the background and the slightest hint of sweet spices (vanilla) in the finish. Rounded taste with strong but silky tannins and a very clean, sapid and persistent end. This wine faithfully preserves the distinct characteristics of the Sangiovese variety, which in our area means harvesting when the grapes are perfectly ripe and striving to attain total balance between all aspects of the wine. |
